A Day at Dreamcatcher Ranch

Through an organization called a A Kid Again ,we had a great day at Dreamcatcher Ranch.  The Mosaic Mansfield Church had volunteers there to help the families have a fun day.We went on a hayride. It was a little scary at times but we had fun.
Noah got to ride a horse named Ricochet . He seemed to really like it.
He goes to the Shriner's Picnic at the Richland County Fairgrounds every fall  but they don't let him ride a horse. So seeing him on the horse yesterday brought  tears to my eyes. I just wish there was a place he could ride more often. I think it would really help with his upper body strength.

We tried to go fishing but we didn't have any luck catching anything. Maybe I scared them away by the look on my face. I promise I really did enjoy my self.
It was an amazing day enjoying spending time with Noah.
We would like to thank the Earhart family( the owners of Dreamcatcher Ranch), the volunteers from Mosaic Mansfield Church, Mike for putting Noah on and off Ricochet, the young lady who took Noah for a ride and Kate & Macy for showing Noah how to be A Kid Again. It was a Wonderful day.

New York City 2015

New York City was so much fun with my sweetie.
We rode down Time Square and around Central Park.
We went to the 9/11 museum.
The stair case of tower 1.
No Day Will Erase You From The Memory Of Time "Virgil"
We rode the Staten Island ferry.

It was beautiful a weekend.

Scott got a caricature of himself done. Next time we need to make sure we carry a small can of hairspray with us. Street really know how to stick it to you. We were told it would $5. When he was done, instead of spraying it with hairspray we were told it would be an extra $20 for the protective frame. Thank you Mister Street Vendor.
St Patrick's Cathedral was finally almost done being renovated. The last 2 times I was there it was full of scaffolding. This time we could really see its splendor I heard some much about.
It truly is such a beautiful place.
The Rockefeller Center at night.
Thank you  Morgan and Emily for keeping Noah. Your Dad and I had an amazing weekend together. We really enjoyed our time together.

First Day of School 2015

Today as I scroll  through Facebook and see all the first day of school pictures, I can't help to think what it would be like for me if Noah was a typical boy. While all the other Mom's are thinking about  their children's last first day of high school and what it will be like when their child will leave the nest next year to start their lives, I think about how we'll never really have an empty nest. Most days I'm glad that we'll always have one of our children at home and never know what it's like to have an empty nest. But, some days like today I wonder what Noah would be like if he was a typical 17 1/2 year old young man. Would he play football? basketball? tennis? track? band?  what college would he attend when he graduated and what would he study while he was there?  This school year I want to make it Noah's best school year yet. We are planning on having Noah "graduate with his class. That way his peers will know Noah was a part of them. I hope his classmates realize how much it has meant to Noah and his family to feel like just "One of the Guys"       Here's to a great year at Shelby Senior High School. GO WHIPPETS!!!!!!

Things Are Coming Together

We've been really busy helping Morgan get her classroom ready. Morgan finally got her keys, so on Sunday we went to Lakeshore in Columbus to get some more things for her classroom. My Mom and I have been busy making curtains as well. Noah has made a great supervisor (as always) and made sure her reading rug was squiggle approved. Her room is really coming together. Keep Morgan in your prayers as she prepares for her first day. She is going to be an amazing teacher.

Having A Great Summer

We've been having a great summer. I can't believe it's almost over.
Noah and Issiah decorated a flower pot for the Richland County Fair. If you go to the fair this week you'll have to look for it.
