Thanks to You

I would like to start off this post by thanking some wonderful ladies I volunteer with at First Lutheran Church food pantry every Wednesday morning. It was their idea to have a fundraiser for Noah's bed. Two of them even met me at the church at 6am to start preparing the turkey dinner on Weds morning. Another crew joined us to finish preparing, serving and cleaning up.

What a great show of support from family, church family and community.

Days like this are always so overwhelming and at times it feels very uncomfortable but, we are so very thankful and feeling so blessed to live in such a great community. Because of all of you we are $2200 closer in getting a safer bed for Noah.
Because of your out pouring of love and generosity we have decided to bless others that are struggling as well to provide needs for their child.
We are starting the Noah Sheaffer Pay-it-Forward Foundation to help Noah and other children that have CP or a trisomy to get things they need to thrive that insurance won't pay for. Stay tuned for more details.

We Keep Rolling Along

Our week was uneventful for the most part. Still trying to find our groove with everything that needs to be done in a day.

Noah had another game last night.  Issiah had fun pushing Noah around the bases. He had so much fun. I need to find a helmet that fits Noah a bit better. They are all to big and spin and cover his face.

This is a picture of Noah's team.
Do you see Noah in the picture and the little boy beside him? Noah kept tickling his arm. Noah then got a hand in the face and a finger up the nose.  Noah was laughing and thought it was funny. After the picture taking was over the little boy's Mom apologized. I told her don't worry about it, Noah started it.
The team they played was a group of girls from Ontario. They were so sweet. The little girl that played second explained to me that she was having so much fun.
What a great way to end the week.
