Answered Prayer Can Be Overwhelming

For the last 15 years we've been all alone (at least it seemed that way) in the special needs community. I have always said I would love to have someone on my side guiding me through the maze of trying to find what is available for Noah. Instead its been a struggle every step of the way. I always thought there should be a easier way for a parent of a special needs child to know what is available to them. I feel someone should be contacting the parent soon after they get a diagnosis. When a parent gets a diagnosis they instantly feel isolated and alone. If someone could be there, I feel it would feel a lot less stressful and overwhelming. It almost feels like you are being thrown into a cage of lions with no way to get out.
With that being said, I have prayed over the years for God to send me someone to help guide me. This last week God has answered my prayers. I have been so grateful and overwhelmed at the same time. I have been blessed tenfold. She has taken the time to help us out in so many ways. I can't begin to repay her. I was in tears the other night, just from the relief of finally having someone here to help guide me. It's has been way to long to doing all on my own.
Thank you so much for being a Earth Angel.
I hope one day I can Pay It Forward and do the same thing for someone else.

In other news.. we traveled to Mobility Works in Akron, Ohio on Saturday. What a beautiful day for a drive. We went there to dream a little and figure out what we wanted in van for Noah. I was hoping for a test drive but, that didn't happen. Although, we did get to push Noah into several. Life would be so much easier with handicap accessible van for Noah. Maybe one day.......

There was a side entry van for sale at Rocket in Shelby. It is a 2002 but only has 20,000 miles on it. We looked at and was going to buy it but we didn't feel it would work for Preston and his power chair. It was in excellent shape and they were going to work with us. Go and see if they still have it and if they will work with you guys. We just got a van from mobility works that is a rear entry and I can already say it's been the best decision ever. Praying that you guys get a van
