I've been wondering for al ong time whether I should post about our special trip that is coming up. I was worried about what some people might think about us going. Since we just had a fundraiser for Noah's therapy. I assure you none of Noah's fundraiser money was used for our trip. I still am excited about going but, I guess at times I feel guilty about it and haven't told many people. In that being said:
Last year at this time the Shelby Whippet Band was planning their trip to Disney World to play in the Magic Kingdom Parade. Morgan and Emily are both in band and would be going. What parent wouldn't want to see their childern in a Disney parade. right? I wanted to go so bad, I didn't want to miss it. Scott and I talked.... with Scott having to take off work all the time for Noah's therapy's and doctors appts he would'nt have any vacations days left to go. Also it wouldn't cost as much with just 2 of us going instead of 3. So the saving began....... Scott, Thank you so much for making such a huge sacrifice for me. I love and adore you so much.
So, in 5days Noah,my friend Susan and I are going to Disney World!!!!!
The sad thing now is.... Scott lost his job 1 1/2 weeks ago. He can now go but, we can't afford it.

Susan, don't ever feel guilty for doing something for yourself. You're an awsome mother and anyone can see how hard you work! You deserve It! Any person that would question that- (you taking a vacation)shame on them.I'll be praying for Scott to get another job or called back to work, I'm so sorry to hear that. I know that must be difficult. Have a great time, enjoy your kids there -and do not feel guilty!
I agree with Evelyn.. do not feel guilty at all.. you do deserve it.. and like you said.. what parent wouldn't want to see their kids in a Disney parade.. you are a wonderful Mother.. and you just go and enjoy it.. too bad Scott can't go with you now.. that is sad.. :( can't wait to see the pictures when you get back.. enjoy.. :)
Do not even feel guilty! You worked so hard, and what mom wouldn't love to see their child in a Disney Parade! Sorry to hear about Scott, I sincerely hopes he finds a new job soon. :)
