A Kid Again Christmas

On Saturday we went to the A Kid Again Christmas Party. It's a party for terminal ill children that have been granted a wish through Make A Wish.
We made Christmas cards and yes that is Scott doing a great job crafting away. Hehe
There was a bunch of games Noah could play.
We got up close and personal with some animals form the Columbus Zoo.

Noah always has a great time. He received this little cute dachshund at one of the games.
After the party we were able to meet up with a family that is going to start ABR in January.  We were able to answer a lot of questions they had. How nice it would have been to have had someone to ask the same questions to 10 years ago when we started ABR. We were nervous to start our ABR journey but we are so glad we did.

Speaking of ABR check out Noah's head control going through Walmart when we stopped on the way home.

A Day at with the Columbus Crew

It was great day to watch a Columbus Crew game.
Bindi did okay  but she tends to be on high alert of anticipation of the fun that is ahead.
The game ended in a tie. 1-1
It was a great day spent with my good friend Susan. thanks for spending the day with us.
Bindi tends to do better sometimes under Noah's chair.

OSU Basketball Day

Finally a fun day after all the appointments this month.
Noah really enjoys watching the boys shoot around.

Micah Potter took the time to say Hi to Noah and he remembered him from last year. He said all the boys are adjusting to the change in coaching and they are getting ready for a great season that starts in 70 days.

I'm sure you noticed that Bindi wasn't in any of the pictures Scott posted yesterday. We decided to give Bindi the day off. It was actually nice getting a break from her. She does a wonderful job keeping Noah less anxious and she sure does look cute on his lap but she struggles sometimes. She can be skittish and also gives Noah a lap dance when we are going from one thing to the next. This is why I was asking about  a trainer a few weeks ago. I have never really trained a dog before and had actually thought Bindi would come to us fully trained. I've been working with her on my own. She is doing much better then when we first got her but still has some work to do.

Bindi sure was glad to see Noah when we got home last night, she didn't want  to leave his side.                                                                Noah was happy to see her too.

Bindi and The Columbus Clippers

We really enjoyed our day at the ballpark watching the Columbus Clippers.
Bindi has been doing really well at home helping with ABR therapy at home. She has been really struggling with her nerves when we are out and about. So much so that our trainer came last week to help me out. He said I was giving her negative reinforcement and to try and ignore her when we are doing outside the home and to tell her a stern NO.
Dale said to give her about 2-3 months and if she doesn't settle that he could switch her with a different dog. He said remember she is a working dog not a pet. That could be true but we have really grown to love her. I can't imagine what Noah would do....

I'm happy to report that Bindi do so well with the changes that she did much better today in church and at the ball field. She gave me hope....  She is the sweetest dog and really wants to do good.

Miracles & Magic

We had such a great time at the Miracles & Magic show. It was a way to raise money for A Kid Again. A Kid Again is an organization that provides family fun days every month for kids that have been granted a Wish through Make A Wish.
Noah had a great time in his front row seat. I promise he had his eyes open to watch the show. He can't seem to smile with his eyes open. goofy kid....

Thank you A Kid Again for another great Family Fun Day.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Through A Kid a Again we got to go to a Columbus Blue Jackets game. A Kid a Again is an organization that plans family fun activities each month for families that have been granted a wish through Make A Wish.
This year we invited Noah's Uncle Dan to go with us because Scott was unable to go with us.

Noah always enjoys getting out and about doing things we wouldn't normally do on our own.

I think Noah is a good luck charm. The Bluejackets pulled off a win in overtime.
