Our Time in Rehoboth Delaware

What a great way to end the summer. We went to Rehoboth Delaware to visit Scott's sister.
Noah, Emily and I had a great time. I enjoyed seeing Noah put his feet in the ocean again.
We would like to thank Kim and Karen for being such great hostess. We loved spending time with you.

After the spring we had with Noah, sitting beside him watching the waves rush over his feet brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't imagine my life without Noah in it.
Looking forward to returning to the ocean. It's definitely my happy place

A Day at the Pumkin Patch

We had a great family day at the pumpkin patch. We really missed Scott and Brad, they had to work.

I love how Noah's big sisters always make sure he is engaged in our fun.

We did pretty getting through the corn maze. Never mind the one time we had to pull Noah between the rows to get back on track. Ssshh

What a beautiful Momma to Be.

Noah had fun with the corn cob cannon. Thank you Mitchell for helping Noah, he had a blast.

We had fun carving our pumpkins we picked out.

Can you guess who Noah's is?

The best pumpkin of all!!!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

We the most perfect day watching the Cleveland Indians win!!

This was Noah,Scott and I's view at the game.
Wee could also see Morgan, Brad,Emily and Mitchell. I sure wish we could afford for everyone to sit together at the game. Oh well we got to go as a family and that is all that matters.
I love to see Noah light up when he sees Slider.

Last week was a ruff week for me. My anxiety was off the charts. I kept reliving each day from a year ago.  I had a smile on my face but my insides were a mess. Putting him to bed when we got home from the game was so hard. I was in tears. I'm so glad our fun family day didn't turn out the same as last year.

Trisomy 8 Day

Imagine you child being diagnosed with Trisomy and never hearing of it...... asking yourself what is Trisomy and searching the internet to find answers and not knowing if this precious child will live or die...imagine feeling lost or alone. I remember our very quiet ride back from Columbus the day Noah was diagnosed. Scott and I were both in shock and unable to even say a word to each other. We felt helpless that we weren't going to be able to "fix" our baby boy and feeling so sick to our stomach with the news we had just received. Can you imagine how we felt when we were told to put our sweet baby in a home and walk away because he would always be a vegetable. It was the worst feeling by far. It has been 18 years since that day. I wonder what that doctor would think of Noah now.... Would she still think he is vegetable?  That his life has no value? Grant it hasn't been the easiest road that we have traveled as a family but we are all better people because of it.

Miracles & Magic

We had such a great time at the Miracles & Magic show. It was a way to raise money for A Kid Again. A Kid Again is an organization that provides family fun days every month for kids that have been granted a Wish through Make A Wish.
Noah had a great time in his front row seat. I promise he had his eyes open to watch the show. He can't seem to smile with his eyes open. goofy kid....

Thank you A Kid Again for another great Family Fun Day.

Ohio State Men's Basketball

Scott, Noah and I were offered tickets to any game we wanted to go to. We chose the game that they played Michigan State. We bought Morgan, Brad and Emily tickets for Christmas.
We started off with pretty good seats but were soon moved to seats on the floor.
Noah was hoping to talk to Trevor Thompson but by the time we got our real seats they were done messing around on the court. Can this goof ball ever smile with his eyes open?

Brutus stopped by for a picture. What a great day we had.

Noah got really excited when Ohio State started really pulling away for the win.

When we were leaving one of the security guys said Noah needed to come back since he was the good luck charm.  We told him if they give us seats each time we would be glad to obliged.

Thank you Ohio State for a fun filled  family day and a Win!!!
