2X Strong

Yesterday Noah and I walked to the Y. We were going to participated in the Twice as Strong Together 5k for John Gurney. When we started walking the sun went away and the wind picked up. By the time we turned left to head towards the Y I realized it was way too cold for Noah to be out for very long.
We decided to stick around long enough to send the walkers/runners off.
What an awesome event. 713 people registered to run/walk to support a amazing man from our community. It was great to see such a outpouring of love and support from Shelby and surrounding communities.

The masked man in the orange shirt is Stan Roberts. He runs for Noah because he can't run himself. He is such an inspiration to myself and others.  Thanks, Stan!!!

Noah is Doing Great!!!

Noah is doing great. He got his haircut this week and I sent this picture to his Dad in a text.
Scott: Please God no!!!
Susan: Justin and Cameron got their hair spiked and I asked him if he wanted to spike his hair and he said yes.
Scott: If he likes it that much he can keep it. He's old enough to make that decision. I don't have to like it I guess.
I had Emily take this picture the other day after our ABR  therapy was done. He is starting to sit up taller for a little bit. Go Noah!!!!

End Of A Great Season

This weekend marked the end of a great season of Shelby Whippet basketball. We really enjoyed watching these boys grow and improve. Again I would like to thank all the boys for taking the time to talk to Noah and letting him give you high fives. Watching you play was always a high light of his week.

Looking at this picture makes me realize how small Noah is compared to boys his own age.
These 6 seniors have been fun to watch play the last 4 years. Good luck in everything you do. Thank you for being a Proud friend.
Noah even got his picture taken with a cheerleader. :) Thanks , Allie.
