My Baby Girl is 21

Twenty One years ago I became a Mommy for the first time to a beautiful baby girl.

I can't belive she is 21. Where has the time gone? I'm so glad God blessed me with such an amazing daughter. She has grown up to be such an amazing young lady.
I'm so glad she has found someone that loves her and treats her like a princess.
Thanks Brad for being such an Awesome son-in-law.

Noah was the Star of the Show

Today was our Sunday School Christmas Pageant at church. It turned out so cute.
The kids and adults did a great job.
It really got me in the Christmas spirit.
There was Mary, Joseph, Angels, Shepherds, little sheep and Wisemen.

Noah was the Star of the Show.

It was the best Christmas Pageant ever.

Proud Teachers and Friend

Noah and his teacher and aides. They are the best group of ladies. They always go above and beyond for all the children in the classroom. We got them 3ELove Proud shirts for Christmas.

This sweet young lady spends every spare minute she can in Noah's classroom, just being a friend. Noah is very google eyed over her. (He is actually a year older than her.)  If there was only a few more Proud friends.

Noah was very busy this week at school decorating cookies and making Christmas decorations.

Noah loves his little buddy Jack.
He even got to tell Santa what he wanted. He was so excited and wouldn't stop smiling and looking at him.

Noah Can Hear

Noah gave the receptionist, Denise at theCleveland Hearing and Speech Center a poinsettia and a thank you card. She is the one that got the President to go ahead and order his hearing aides. In fact, because of Noah they now have a all new precedence on how they order hearing aides. They are now going to order the hearing aides for all children and then worry about insurance afterwards. That way not another child has to wait to be able to hear.
First they checked Noah for any wax in his ears. Surprisingly he didn't have any.
He was then fitted with his hearing aides.
They programed Noah's hearing aides digitally with a computer. When we talked to him you could tell he was hearing something because, his eye brows would go up.  His brain has to get used to all the new noises and figure out what they are and where they are coming from.
They are a really good fit. He wore them to the mall and all the way home and they never fell out. When we got home, I put him on the floor on his mat. He actually was rolling and scooting while watching TV and they stayed in. I was really happy that he could still do one of his favorite things and he could hear while doing it.
When it was time to do his vest before bed, I asked him if he could hear the TV. He excitedly said, "Yes"

A Kid Again Christmas 2012

We started off our day on Saturday at our church for an Advent Breakfast. There was great food and the entertainment was amazing. It was provided by a local dulcimer group. Who a knew a saw could sound so good.

We then went to the Star Trek store in Columbus. Here is Captain Noah in the captain's chair.
We then went to the annual A Kid Again Christmas party. It's a party for Make A Wish children and their families.

Its always a fun time for our family.

They serve a meal, have games for the childern and a gift from Santa.
Noah made a coffe mug for his Grandma Sheaffer for Christmas. Sshh, don't tell her.

Thanks to all the volunteer's and Reynoldsberg High School for an amazing day. We had fun.
After the party we rushed home so we could watch the Shelby boys basketball team beat Orville. It ended up being a close game but, they won it in the end.
Go Whippets!!!!

On Sunday we put up our tree. I'm just kidding.
Or am I?
