Cedar Point

What a fun day we had at Cedar Point.
We had fun seeing all the dinosaurs.
The best part it was free. It was Scott's company picnic.
Only thing tht would have made it better, was it to be cooler. We've had a pretty nice summer and the weather picked this day to be really hot outside.
Noah doesn't do well in the heat. I gave him lots of water but he still was still pretty miserable.

We stayed long enough to see the dinosaurs, eat lunch, ride one ride, eat lunch and see 2 shows.  It was then time to get Noah out of the heat. Even though we weren't there very long we still had a fun day together.
Thanks MTD

A Day at the Splash Pad

On Monday we went to the splash pad in Ashland. Noah had fun going through the water. It was a great place for Noah to go and be like everyone else. There wasn't any place he couldn't go, it was very accessible and free. You can't beat that.  At one point a little girl stopped and said, "Excuse me mam, what is that?" I told her it was how Noah ate. She looked at me a little bit funny and then said, "Oh ok" and went on her merry way. So sweet, all you got to do is ask.

Shooting Hoops With the Ohio State Buckeyes

On Saturday Noah and Scott got to shoot hoops with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Noah was able to change clothes in their trainers room. He was pretty excited about that. They were able to do this through A Kid Again.. It's organization that offers fun activities for Wish Kids and their families to enjoy a day away from the normal doctor visits and hospital stays.  I was pleasantly surprised to see an old classmate volunteering, Steve Stadler and I had great time talking to each other.. Thanks A Kid Again for another great time.

Baseball Awards Night

Another year of baseball has come to a close. We are always sad to see it end. It's a great time that we get to spend time with other families that "get it" and sure is fun seeing all the smiling faces on the kids.
Noah got a trophy, a medal and a cd of a bunch of pictures of his team members.
